Gravensteen Castle, locally simply known as Gravensteen, lies in the city of Ghent, in the East Flanders province in the Flemish region in Belgium.

It is the ancient heart of the city of Ghent having been preserved in this way since the Middle Ages, of course the district has also experienced some period of decline, but in the 70s it was revitalized and is now one of the busiest places for the many locals who find hospitality there.
